Yesterday was.... hrm... I don't think I shall need to eat for a while. And I appear to have totally regained morphological coherence. So, yesterday was certainly useful.

Private and Completely Unhackable to everyone with the very possible exception of Alucard )

So little time. Alucard, if you're done making obesiance to Allah, let's hunt.

[[ooc: Walter without self-control is going to be on the hunt for fresh human blood, and he's still not properly regenerated, so parts of him are swirling black masses and he'll frequently shift shape into hellbeasts with multiple eyes. Feel free to run into him in the city. Or run away from him. Or throw something at him. Or shoot him.]]

I can actually walk again, for a start.

[[ooc: typed very very slowly with only half a hand. There is a trail of blood up the stairs of building three, and into Walter's room.]]

Or is it starting to clear up out there...?

Isn't that just perfect.

Marluxia, I'll see you shortly.

* * *
I've rigged up the building's air conditioning into a water pump, your ladyship and drained the lower floor into the sewers. It's a bit jerry-rigged though, so I don't know how it'll last if the rain continues. You should be able to get in and out a little more easily now. I'll go up on floor above and the roof and have a look at the leaks in the ceiling.

Finally, something to DO...

I actually don't particularly dislike you any more. You've behaved surprisingly well lately and with great humanity and completely eradicated my image of you as a foul-mouthed lunatic. If anything, I suspect you are behaving with more humanity than me. I was just taking my frustration at being unable to leave this place out on you. I'm actually going gradually insane with V incapacitated and no real plans to get out of here progressing very far, and of course becoming a full Nosferatu isn't particularly helpful to retaining one's sanity either. I'd start something myself, but I've been following orders all my life, and am not particularly good at stirring people to action. This is another thing that frustrates me greatly.

Oh bugger. That's not what I meant to type at all...

Damn it, I wish I it were as easy to shapeshift myself out of the mode-of-speech curses as it is out of the body-change ones.

And what was I singing. Was it even music? Why couldn't I have a nice bit of Verdi, or some Wagner?

White on white translucent black capes
Back on the rack
Bela Lugosi's dead
The bats have left the bell tower
The victims have been bled
Red velvet lines the black box
Bela Lugosi's dead
Undead undead undead
The virginal brides file past his tomb
Strewn with time's dead flowers
Bereft in deathly bloom
Alone in a darkened room
The count
Bela Lugosi's dead
Undead undead undead

They've had to bring in another one, have they? Getting a bit worried about their lack of control over us? Intriguing....

Now, it just so happens that I have some small skill in ordnance construction and adaptation, and Miss Seras brought a fair few with her when she and her Ladyship returned from our world (not my Sig Sauer, sadly. I keep that under lock and key. It has special modifications). Any particular model required? Will it be the classic 17, or the military issue 18 with the switch for automatic fire?

[[ooc: anything to piss Jan off, XD]]

But harmless, at least.

*experimentally walks the length of the room*

Where are those noises coming from?

* * *
Oh well, I'm used to these now. I'm surprised Alucard isn't just expanding himself back to normal size.
* * *
I believe I have recovered from my embarassment ordeal now. Has anything interesting been happening in my absence? If not, how are the escape plans progressing. We may now be able to indefinitely slow/reverse the motion of the carousel and prolong the end of the world, but we have still not managed to destroy this trap and release everyone. There's work to be done!
* * *
Oh dear me. I'm dreadfully sorry, everyone, even if it was a curse, there's no excuse for that sort of behaviour.

((OOC - Again, posted just past midnight. He'll be hunting for a while in the underground out of everyone's way, in embarassment, mainly that everyone's seen what he was like when he was fourteen.))

Wot's going on. Oo's snatched me.

Alucard, where are yer, yer nancy git. And where're all the birds?

What in bleedin' 'ell's happened to me teeth?

* * *
I feel very rested and ready for duty again. V, hope you're improving and getting some damn rest. Have I missed anything?

ETA, after reading a few back entries: Good Lord. Oh well, cheer up everyone, at least it's over.

* * *
Hope you're feeling better after yesterday's rigmarole. Those of you who are wondering about V's health, he appears to be unconscious, but stable thanks to those various people with medical knowledge who came to help. Thank you, all of you.

Milady, Alucard, Miss Seras, send me a message if you need help with anything, otherwise, you know where I'll be.

Mister Valentine, Miss Morris, Mister Townshend and Mister Sunderland and those helping keep the tunnels safe, I will come and relieve you on monster duty as soon as Miss Evey awakes. The poor girl needs her rest, so I'm not going to disturb her (I'm typing as quietly as I can). I'd like someone on guard duty here while I'm out as well, if you would.

To the rest of you who helped turn the clock back, thank you. You took a great responsibility and achieved a great thing, and some of you have sacrificed your home in building seven for it. Those left homeless, the Archangel Uriel seems to be offering you a place in Xanadu, unless that was just a product of yesterday's madness, which I doubt. Believe me, we will not let your, and V's sacrifices be in vain. The enemy is strong, and has power over us, but it is no longer power that will cow and dismay us.

Those of you who helped, and then saw what happened to our leader, and suddenly decided to slate his noble sacrifice, call him a fool, etc. thank you for your help, but damn your eyes for cowards, and don't let me see you ANYWHERE NEAR HIM. I also note with a certain amount of obvious schadenfreude that the Mad Gods appear to have been punished for their failure by being put under the same curse as the rest of you. Clearly our enemies have no sense of loyalty to their troops. Is that the side you want to be on?

Finally, we have won the battle, but not yet the war. However, the very fact that we have won the battle, proves that we CAN and WILL win the war. The living will escape to their homes, and the dead will achieve their final rest at last, no longer cynically used as fuel for a Machiavellian Doomsday Machine of universal proportions.

On that day, when we turned the clock back together, we showed that we will not submit quietly to the will of unknown beings. WE are the ones who power this city, WE are the ones who control it, AND WE WILL BE ITS DESTROYERS.
